Parties at The Beehive

PARTY CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS We are here to make sure that you have the best possible time for your little one’s birthday party. We want you to sit back and relax and enjoy the party too. If you need any help or have enquiries, please get in touch or speak to your party host. Office hours generally are Monday – Thursday 10am – 3pm however we do endeavour to respond asap to all enquiries. Please read all information’s carefully as this is very important information, by making a reservation you therefore agree to our terms and conditions as well as our general rules of play as outlined at The Beehive. Important Information Regarding all Party Bookings Payments: A non-refundable and non transferable booking fee of £50 is required within 10 days of making a reservation. This date is outlined in your reservation details. The remaining package balance is due 10 DAYS BEFORE YOUR PARTY and if is not paid in time you could incur a late payment fee of £25 or a cancelled booking. At this time we will endeavour to contact you again. However, if the remaining package is still unpaid by 7 days before the date of your party then the party will automatically be cancelled due to you not adhering to the terms and conditions of the party contract. All payments made prior to this are non refundable and non transferable. If you decide to cancel your party completely within the 10 days leading up to your party, Or we have had no contact or remaining package payment from yourself within this time you are liable for the full cost of your party balance, and will not gain entry to The Beehive until this is cleared. Any booking made, including online will be non refundable or transferable also. If you do come into any difficulties, then please do call the Beehive and ask to speak to your party coordinator to discuss this and any options we may have for you. Siblings: If any of your invited guests do have siblings that also wish to attend the party, they will be made welcome by us, However there are different charges in place in relation to this. These charges can be covered by yourself as the party organiser or by the parent of the additional child / children. The charges are as follows: For private hire / exclusive parties a sibling cost the additional child fee, depending on the party package booked. This fee then entitles that sibling to be included as a full party guest, and therefore would be included with all parts of the party. Standard entry price is not an option for exclusive parties as we cannot exclude some children from the activities we offer. We are also not responsible for any child attending The Beehive and therefore cannot monitor children who are “just sitting down ect” All children ages 12 months – 12 years will be charged the same fee. 0-11 months are charged at £1.75 only. For parties within regular play sessions there are two options: A sibling can be charged at the session entry rate and access the soft play. If the sibling would like to attend and be treated and included as a full party guest, then depending on the type of party the charge would be either £12.50 (bumble bee) or £14.50 ( bumble bee deluxe) with these charges they would then be treated and included the same as other party guests. If the party is part of a Regular play session, we strongly advise pre-booking the siblings or we cannot guarantee entry. Only children / siblings wearing a party wristband will gain entry to the party room / area so please do bare this in mind also. Other sessions may take place such as character meet and greets ect instead of a regular play session and in these circumstances payments may vary. We do always advise on checking and pre booking. If you have any preferences of siblings NOT attending as a guest ect please let your party Co Ordinator know BEFORE your party at the time of Reservation. Charges are all outlined on our FREE party invitations, therefore we strongly encourage you to collect these and use for inviting guests. We can post your party pack out to you at a cost of £3.50 if required once your booking fee has been paid. Adult Guests All party bookings during open sessions (bumble bee / bumble bee deluxe) allow 15 FREE adult spaces. After this there would be a charge of £1 per adult in line with our adult charge, please communicate this with your guest and party advisor so that it is clear who the additional charge will be covered by. Unfortunately Adults take up much of our overall capacity and as we do limit how many people are using our centre, to allow you to have a comfortable time with us. At Exclusive parties there is no limit or charge for adult guests as you have reserved the whole facility. Leading up to the party and on the day: A party co-ordinator will call or email you on the lead up to your party to go through your party booking information, check guest numbers, characters and whether there are any allergies. They may also at this point gently remind you about any outstanding payments and guest list required. On the day of your party please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your party start time. We cannot guarantee early entry as we like to ensure the whole play centre is clean, tidy and party ready for everyone attending. You will be welcomed by your party host who will go through the plan for your party and ensure things run smoothly on the day. Your party guests will be asked to start vacating the play frame 15 minutes before the end of the party. This is so there is adequate time for them to gather their belongings and then collect their sweet cone on exit. The giving out of sweet cones / party bags and balloons or other gifts is included within your party time and this takes place on exit by our helpful team members. We may appear to be encouraging your guests along during the end of the party and this is so that we can ensure we have enough time to hand out the FREE party cones ect provided to your guests. We also have limited time between sessions to clean and prepare for the next party and/or event. We want everyone to arrive to a clean and party ready centre. Your party host will be on hand to settle any final payments (for additional children / drinks tabs ect) and ensure you are happy with how your party has gone. Photo’s: During some sessions, events and parties we often take photos. These photos can be used on our social media platform, so guests can look back on memories made with us. They also may appear on our website, posts and for advertising. If you DO NOT wish to consent to photo’s being taken please ensure that you let us know when making a reservation. We do always ask every adult on entry permission as standard also – anyone not giving permission to be included within The Beehive photo’s will be issued a RED BAND to put on their child and a description of their attire will be taken so that if we capture them by mistake they can be cropped / disguised in photos. We have no control over customers taking photo’s of their children but if you feel uncomfortable for any reason please speak to a member of staff who will be happy to assist where possible. There are some party packages where you can pay to hire the Beehive for an additional 30 or 60 minutes if you would like more time for your party, this only applies when making a reservation and cannot be changed once the reservation is already made. For an addition 30 minutes party time the fee is £50 and for an additional hour the fee is £75. This time can be spent partying or to allow you to arrive before your guests and put together any final touches you may require on the day of your party. There are additional extras we can add to parties such as, characters/mascots, face painting, glitter tattoos, bouncy castle and arts and crafts room or biscuit decorating. We offer fully themed parties, upgraded party bags, birthday cakes, animal encounters and even adult catering packages Please speak to your party coordinator if these are things that may be of interest to you. Responsibility: By making this Reservation you agree to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined above, as well as the rules of play. You agree to take responsibility for the booking and the guests you invite. In the event of any damages made to our property during your reservation / party / event you are liable for the cost of repairs or replacement of any such belongings within 28 days of the date of damage.
